meeBy.it – Website Performance Optimization & Core Web Vitals Enhancement

The meeBy.it project focused on improving the performance, loading speed, and overall technical health of an e-commerce platform specializing in professional wellness and SPA equipment.

The original website suffered from slow Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Time to First Byte (TTFB) values, resulting in sub-optimal user experience and “Core Web Vitals: Failed” status on mobile devices.

After a detailed performance audit using GTmetrix, Lighthouse, and Google PageSpeed Insights, I implemented several key optimizations, including:

Image compression and next-gen format conversion (WebP).
Code minification and lazy loading of non-critical assets.
Improved server response and caching configuration.
Elimination of render-blocking JavaScript and CSS resources.
Strategic preloading of key fonts and above-the-fold content.

These improvements led to a measurable boost in performance metrics:

GTmetrix Grade: B (Performance 76%, Structure 86%)
LCP improved from 4.7 s to 2.0 s
TTFB reduced from 2.4 s to 1.6 s
CLS stabilized at an excellent 0.02
Core Web Vitals (Desktop): Passed

As a result, the site now delivers a smoother, faster, and more stable browsing experience, directly enhancing SEO rankings and user retention.

This project demonstrates my ability to perform technical audits, web performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals compliance—critical for e-commerce sites that rely on speed and reliability to maximize conversions.
